Junior Product Manager 

We are looking for a Junior Product Manager to help us with Aion Teams.

Aion Teams was developed to help hybrid or distributed teams share vital information with each other contributing to greater collaboration and cohesion. Currently, in its MVP Phase, Aion has two key features; a workspace management function that helps teams organize where they work, and a mood sharing feature that allows for teams to share how they’re feeling. About the role

As the Junior Product Manager, you will assist us with our product development efforts from concept to launch. You will be working with cross-functional  Product Management, Executive, Sales/Marketing teams, and customers to convert business requirements into technical stories and run the product development cycles with the technical team. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams

  • Define concepts for new features, enhancements, and functionalities fed from our product backlog to improve user experience.

  • Prioritize the implementation of features and work with the developers to deliver quality products within the expected timeline.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure features are captured, prioritized, and communicated accordingly.

  • Collect and analyze key user metrics and associated conversion rates in order to inform your product decisions.

  • Ability to use product analytics and insights to ensure continuous improvement of the product.

  • Develop and maintain excellent awareness of competitor activity to inform the business and shape the product roadmap.

  • Requirement gathering & Writing Product Requirement Documents (PRD) with a business case, detailed use cases, and technical requirements.


About the candidate 

The ideal candidate should have a technical background/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. We’re looking for an organized communicator who is well-versed in finding new ways to make it easier for teams to effectively work together. You have a passion for learning and can balance product strategy with tactical execution.

  • Technical experience or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

  • Good communication skills along with the ability to work with cross-functional Development, Quality Assurance, Documentation, UI/UX, Marketing, and Sales teams.

  • Familiarity with market research, consumers’ behavior, and marketing techniques.

  • Ability to easily transition from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.

  • Ability to work in an agile software development environment.

  • Knowledge of project management tools like Jira.

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Excellent analytical skills and a good level of requirements management

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong time management skills

  • Attention to detail - accurate data gathering, insightful analysis.

  • Understanding of web & mobile technologies
