Marketing & Communications Manager (Freelance/Remote/Part-time)

About the Role 

We are looking for a marketing and communication all-star to join our team to lead these efforts. In your role, you will work directly with our team (primarily the Senior consultants and our CEO) to deliver on the following:

Strategic Marketing Oversight:
Develop and deliver on the marketing strategy for the company. This includes linking our marketing efforts to our business goals, ideating new marketing campaigns and tactics, and measuring progress on delivering the strategy.

Campaign Planning:
Lead the conceptualization and execution of our 5 campaigns based on the annual campaign calendar; track and adjust progress according to the mar/comms cadence document. This planning is comprehensive including messaging, channel strategy.

Event & Project Management:
For our virtual and in-person events, your role will be to support and lead select event planning and content development initiatives.
Managing the delivery of all marketing-related projects (not limited to events) ensures everyone on our team collaborates, meets deadlines, and contributes to our brand-building efforts.
 

Podcast Production
Research and develop content for our podcast Centaur Stage. For future seasons this may include guest coordination and promotional content for episodes.
 

Content Development
Based on the marketing strategy and campaign plans, you will develop the content calendars and oversee the creation of all marketing and insights across platforms and channels (website, social media channels, newsletter etc.)

PR & Speaking Engagements
Pitch and secure media features for our CEO & Senior Leaders and develop any content needed.

Reporting & Analytics
Maintain robust reporting mechanisms to track progress on our strategy, key KPIs, and campaigns. Present strategic insights during quarterly and annual reviews.

Other Initiatives
Maintain editorial style guide and brand guidelines. Content ideation and calendar creation for our WhatsApp Community. Share insights and feedback on other growth content and projects (e.g. brochures, Cosmic Conversations).

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a multi-skilled marketing, communications, or content lead who is eager to add value and learn. We’re happy to teach you a lot but we need you to have the following skills:

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strategic thinking

• Excellent writing skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

• Curious mindset

• Meticulous attention to detail

• A keen sense for planning and seeing projects from concept through completion

• Canva design skills are preferred (but not essential)

• Final Cut Pro or other video editing skills are preferred

This is a remote and part-time contract-based position.
