Worksheet: Uncovering Team Dynamics

According to the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, David Hume in his account of convention in A Treatise of Human Nature argued that “a necessary condition for coordinated activity was that agents all know what behavior to expect from one another.” In other words, common knowledge is vital for team success because it increases team connectedness improving collaboration and coordination.

As firm believers in the power of mutual knowledge and the positive impact it can create on teams, we developed this worksheet to help you build common knowledge by identifying where you are similar and where you are different across 3 main themes:

  1. Level of Introversion/Extroversion

  2. How you manage conflict

  3. The role you play in your team
