Breaks can leave you concerned about how your tasks will get managed. A clear and detailed handover before leaving allows you to fully disconnect, and your team to manage the workload without a glitch.
On another hand, handovers are also critical in off-boarding employees who are leaving the company, in order for other employees to adjust. As a matter of fact, a formal handover process makes organizations 11% more likely to improve engagement, and 14% more likely to improve retention.
