After the success of last year’s inaugural Cosmic Conference exploring “The Future of Work”, Cosmic Centaurs is proud to bring you the second free edition all about “The Future of Teams”.
Why the future of teams?
The global pandemic has forever changed the way work is done. It pushed organizations and leaders around the world to adopt hybrid work models. But despite the flexibility this work model offers, hybrid work comes with its own challenges including the cohesion and collaboration of teams. Organizations cannot risk having less productive workers and employees don’t want to miss out on creating meaningful connections with others. So with that in mind, we invited thought leaders, experts, academics, entrepreneurs and teams to join us for the 3-day virtual event and share their insights and experience.
What are we going to speak about?
The Future of Teams conference is spread over three days (July 6th, 7th and 8th).
Day 1: Tuesday July 6th, 2021
We’re kicking off this year’s conference with a discussion around psychological safety. This concept has seen a surge in popularity, particularly among distributed teams and we’ll be uncovering what it really means for teams to be psychologically safe and how that transcends across the other topics we’re covering in our sessions.
We’ll also be hearing from teams and team members that perform and coach in the public eye to learn more about their rituals, dynamics, habits and culture.
Day 2: Wednesday July 7th, 2021
The second day will kick off with a panel exploring the importance of internal communications for distributed teams, where our speakers will share strategies and examples of effective communication at work.
We will also have a session around designing virtual workspaces that enhance distributed teams’ performance. Our third session for the day will explore managing diversity in distributed teams, the challenges, opportunities and learnings from leaders and experts on the topic. We’re also bringing back one of our most popular formats: a debate! This year panelists will debate whether remote teams are better than co-located teams and we hope it will be just as exciting as last year’s conversation.
Day 3: Thursday July 8th 2021
For the first time, we’re adding a third day to our Cosmic Conference with a new type of engagement: workshops! This year we’re hosting two closed workshops on Thursday July 8th. Participating teams will get to learn more about each other and learn ways to better communicate and perform. Stay tuned to learn more! Another workshopr will explore the significance of having meaningful rituals that align with the organization's culture.
Where is it happening?
