Rushdi Ali
Currently lead Commercial Finance function for GE Gas Power Middle East, North Africa & S. Asia. The role involves supporting a team of ~100 Commercial team members across the region with deal structuring, internal underwriting & negotiations from new Power plant bids to after-market services. This in the new COVID era has meant real time adjustment of deal strategies on profitability & cash while continuing to navigate the challenges faced by end customer and internally in our own supply chain while we worked remotely.
Have been with GE for 13 years in the Finance function with varied experiences across multiple businesses (Power, Aviation, Corporate) and multiple geographies (Middle East, Asia and US). My most recent stints has been to cover the exciting Middle East and North Africa markets looking at underwriting, Risk management and Financing of our Power sector customers. I am a graduate of GE’s flagship premier Finance Leadership programs such as the Corporate Audit Staff and the Financial Manager’s program.
