As AstroLabs scaled, the complexity of the organization increased faster than its operating system. While strategic intent was clear at the top, translating that intent into consistent execution across the wider organization became increasingly difficult.
Cosmic Centaurs partnered with AstroLabs’ CEO and Leadership Team on a system-wide transformation. The engagement spanned leadership team development, strategic alignment, and operating model design, while also investing deeply in the broader organization.
The work included partnering closely with the Leadership Team to refine AstroLabs’ strategy and business plan, rethink leadership roles and collaboration, redesign the Leadership Team cadence, and strengthen executive communications. In parallel, this work was brought to life across the organization: upskilling middle management, redesigning how teams connect through organization-wide rituals, and delivering a series of leadership and team sessions that enabled employees at all levels to engage with, contribute to, and own the updated strategy and direction.
Together, this created the conditions for shared ownership, consistency, and confidence across the organization.

1. What challenge(s), problem(s), or pain point(s) were you struggling with before you started working with Cosmic Centaurs?
As CEO, I could feel a growing disconnect between what I knew needed to happen and how things were actually being executed. Strategy made sense on paper, but it wasn’t consistently translating into decisions, priorities, and follow-through.
That gap started to affect me personally. I felt the limits of my own ability to bridge it, and the process began to lose its joy. That tension inevitably cascaded to my leaders, the wider team, and ultimately our results. I could sense there was a bottleneck, I just didn’t yet have the ability to name it.
2. How did Cosmic Centaurs address the identified problem or challenge?
Cosmic Centaurs helped us see that the challenge wasn’t about individuals, capability, or intent, but about how the leadership and organizational system as a whole was designed as the organization scaled. This required us to re-examine some of our assumptions about leadership, decision-making, and growth.
Rather than staying at a conceptual level, the work consistently translated clarity into action across the organization. Together, we sharpened strategic direction, grounded it in a clear operating rhythm, strengthened decision-making and accountability, and built shared leadership practices across levels.
In parallel, the work extended beyond the leadership team, upskilling middle management, designing organization-wide rituals, and creating a series of sessions that engaged teams across the company in contributing to the updated strategy and business plan. The focus was always on what needed to happen next: tomorrow, next week, and beyond, while at the same time making sure everything that needed to be done to get there was delivered at the highest standards.
3. What results or changes have you seen since the engagement started?
We now have collective and individual clarity across the organization. Our strategic direction is clear, communicated at the right level of detail, and consistently reinforced.
More importantly, we’ve moved beyond clarity to execution. We operate with a shared cadence, clear measurement, and explicit alignment points across teams. When we hit or miss our targets, we stay grounded rather than reactive. That shift has created space for better decisions, stronger collaboration, and more confident leadership at every level of the organization.
4. What is one thing that surprised you about our partnership?
What surprised me most is that the approach actually works. I had never truly believed an external partner could make this kind of difference.
There was persistence without ego, honesty without politics, and support without dependency. You helped us ship real outcomes, not just think differently, but operate differently.
5. What made you choose Cosmic Centaurs as a partner?
